Hello lovely people.
Please excuse if I have posted in the wrong place.
Just need to get my story out there.
I'm sorry there is no heart beat. The 3 words that can change everything. I was meant to be 8 weeks 2 days today. Had a tiny amount of blood yesterday and got re checked today and 3 over people confirmed it to. I am having a misscarige and have been given 3 choices. To wait natural. To see what happens. Or a surgical procedure with me awake? I am so nervous and heart broken :(

Oh lovely I'm so sorry Flowers
I also had those words said to me at my 12 week scan 6 years ago and it was just horrible.
I've had both medical management and surgical and found surgical much better but ultimately its up to you.

There's lots of ladies on here who have experienced natural miscarriages, medical and surgical, so you aren't alone

I'm really sorry, OP. I'm going through the same at the moment and it's awful. I hope it passes quickly and as painlessly as possible for you. Thinking of you Flowers

I’m so sorry for your loss and have been in your position twice. It is just devastating and you need to let yourself grieve for your lost baby and lost hopes for the future. As you’ve probably been told, most women who miscarry go on to have healthy pregnancies but that may not help at this time.

There is an excellent thread about the practicalities of miscarriage on the Body and Soul board under Pregnancy Loss. I found it really helpful.

So, so sorry that you’re going through this and hope you’ve got lots of support in real life. Flowers

I am so sorry. I have been there too. It is just horrible. Words can barely describe the it. I opted for medical management as it could be started straightaway.

It took several weeks for my body to realise I wasn't pregnant any more, which was soul destroying. I didn't realise that it could take so long for it to complete.

Sending you lots of love.

Hi I no this is a long shot as this post was a few months ago. I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago I’m 6weeks 2days now, I’ve had 5 previous miscarriages and 1 ectopic.
So about 5 days ago when I went to the toilet I noticed when I wiped there was brown discharge after 3 wipes it stopped I rang the Hosiptal as I’m high risk but the nurse said it was nothing to worry about.
After so many loses I’m addicted to testing all the time so I’ve been testing the last few days and the test have started to get lighter, my scan is tomorrow but I just think I’m going to here them words again (so sorry but you’ve had another loss) has anyone else had this and everything’s been alright?

I had bleeding randomly a few times in my first pregnancy. My son is 4 now and perfectly healthy. It isn't always a bad sign.

Wishing you the best of luck for your scan. x

@Elisiamarrie21 how did you get on?

Elisiamarrie21 · 04/08/2021 16:05

My scan this morning she couldn’t see anything but said my womb has thickened this is either because of pre pregnancy so I’m earlier than we think or pre period and I’ve had a miscarriage. Had to have bloods taken and then again in 48hours if they double then I will have to have a scan again next week
So still worried and don’t know much more than I did, the nurse was lovely tho Smile
