Hey,
So I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant now and I just feel so down all the time, I'm constantly worrying and keep looking back on past mistakes and feeling so guilty, as stupid as it sounds but it's really brining be down. I don't wanna get out of bed but at night I just can't seem to sleep. Any advice?? Xx

Hi! I felt the same at 6 weeks it was the worst. Really bad insomnia and in a heightened anxiety state everyday. Just kept convincing myself i had done/eaten something wrong and damaged baby.
I am now 8 weeks and feel much better. I think hormones are just a mess at this stage. Not being able to sleep is also pretty common.
Hopefully it helps to know you are not alone and it's nothing you're doing wrong.

There is also plenty of help available and I would definitely reach out to your GP or midwife to let them know how you feel, or check for resources online. I set things in motion at the time and now don't need them but it is always good to know you have a plan in place to help if you need it.

All the best

I also find pregnancy and things being out of my control overwhelming so what helps is focusing on the things I can control to make me feel better : eating healthy, exercising, yoga, meditation...this should also help with overall mood and sleep.

Hi. I'm also very early in my pregnancy 8 weeks my sleeping has been all over the place and I have had bad feelings of sickness all day long it just don't give me a break. I feel totally fed up already and very lost with no one else to talk to my partner is great but not sure he wants me moaning everyday.
I feel so rough everyday, I hope it will settle soon I can't stop crying feel so low xx

Nothing helpful I'm afraid, just that you're not alone. I'm 6+4 and feel sick 24 hours a day which means no sleep. Pregnancy is thoroughly miserable so far for me and I just can't see the light at the moment.
