Positive tests now very faint 5 weeks

Hi all. So confused. I thought i am/ was pregnant, unplanned. Had four positive tests a week ago. Dates were a muddle because I don't have periods right now, so I was sent for a scan yesterday and there was no visible baby which would suggest earlier dates at 5 weeks ish which still ties in with probability (conceived 13th Jan). The lady at the hosp was quite rude with me. I had a hcg test to be repeated tomorrow but I couldn't wait so I brought another test yesterday which I have just done, a frer, and it is super, super light.

Is this a chemical? I'm absolutely gutted.

I'm sorry, it does sound like a chemical if they're getting lighter, assuming you took it with first morning urine x

Hiya, I didn’t want to read and run, it does sound very much like it could be a chemical.
Did you use the same brand of test? That would be the best way to tell, if you use concentrated urine with the same tests as you first used and it’s fainter then I’d prepare myself for the worst but hope for the best.

Yeah it was the same brand and batch. Gutted. I have the hcg test tomorrow if I don't get af I guess but I think I have to expect the worst as you say

It could be a chemical but its best to wait for the hcg test to be repeated.
