Hi, everyone, I guess I'm just looking for reassurance that I'm not alone! I'm 19 weeks pregnant and I have a 3.5 year old DS. His nursery bubble is closed this week due to a Covid case and he's had to isolate at home because he's a close contact. He usually goes 2.5 days and the rest of the time he's with me. I am KNACKERED. So tired that, by the end of the day, I feel sick (I had awful nausea at the start but I only feel sick now when I'm exhausted). My son is full of energy and missing the company of other kids, so I spent a lot of yesterday on the floor being a beetle/ghost/dog/Octonaut. I honestly can't remember if I was this tired when I was pregnant the first time... I was a secondary school teacher but I guess I slept all weekend maybe?! I suppose I've been waiting for the good bit to start and feel more energy. I'm definitely less tired than at the start but it feels like lockdown parenting is sucking all the energy out of me. I miss my friends/parents/normal easy parenting hang outs badly.
Is anyone else in "the good bit" but still knackered? Is anyone else finding parenting their older DC really hard?
Thanks
