Pregnancy "dietary requirements" - should I state them?

We've been invited to a wedding and have to fill in the dietary requirements section.

Should I put "I am pregnant so can't eat shellfish or soft cheese" on the reply form or is that too precious for words?

Is there anything else I should point out that may be on a wedding menu?

Thanks for your help

Lol! Not precious at all (though I absolutely know what you mean). I was at a wedding recently (found out I was pregnant after I'd sent in the reply card), and I just talked to the manager of the venue (though if there's lots of time till the wedding the bride shouldn't be too stressed and you can talk to her directly) and asked what the menu was and then said what I couldn't have (easier than writing a mammoth, paranoid list on the reply card!)

maybe just talk to the happy couple, am sure it wouldn't particularly put them out. Do you know whether they are having a sit down meal or a buffet. If its a buffet I probably wouldn't bother adding the note as there is usually loads of choice but might be a good idea if its a sit down just in case.
