So I'm 38+3. I'm not going to lie, I feel miserable. I'm just so tired of feeling like a huge fat whale. I know I should be feeling so lucky and excited, and I am looking forward to meeting my baby but it's just so overshadowed by my irritability and annoyance at well, everything.
I've been having lots of BH and they seem to get stronger, but then go. I've also had a few niggly pains in my tummy and the pressure in my pelvis has increased a lot along with diarrhoea. Do you think this might be the start of labour? I really hope so.
Sorry to moan, I just feel quite alone at the moment (although DH is being amazing)

Sorry you're feeling that way. It sounds normal for the end of pregnancy.
It isn't fun at all.
Nobody can tell you if it's the start of labour or not. But they all sound normal for the end of pregnancy.
I had 2 weeks of cramps/constant BH and diarrhoea before my baby came at 40+5 (and that was only because I had to be induced)
