is there any regularity to the pain or increase in intensity?

take 2 paracetomal if it is really bad and have a warm bath, and curl up and rest..

Does it ease off when you rest? Get worse when you are active?

Sorry you're in pain rosebud

Have you been drinking enough water? I had really painful and strong BH from 32 weeks and was in hospital for monitoring twice. Dehydration seemed to make them worse so i was quaffing about 3litres of water a day.

If you're worried, call your MW or the ante-natal ward

its hurts when i walk and try to stand straight. It doent feel like labour pains as theres no increase or pattern. And definitely better when i sit down I had them the other night when i was in bed though and couldnt sleep. Could it be from where the babys been kicking and moving around.

COULD YO HAVE STRAINED YOUR LIGAMENTS? oops, sorry for shouting ...I have a helpful DD!

I strained my ligaments on the right hand side really badly at about 26 weeks, and it felt like a stitch, but it was very very painful. Rest and not overdoing things was the only thing for it. It's only now starting to strengthen up and feel normal again and DD is 21 weeks old.

If it doesn't improve with rest I would definately call your MW.

Could it be SPD? It's caused by early softening of the ligaments. Could check with midwife. You can take paracetamol and should avoid twisting, just in case.
