Bleeding at 5weeks pregnant

Hi ladies im rather scared at the moment. I am 5weeks and 5days pregnant. I started bleeding 2days ago. I went a&e yesterday as I was advised by my midwife because of how bad the bleeding was. Has anyone else bleeded at 5 abit weeks before? I'm going out of my mind. I have a scan on Saturday but im so nervous that I've lost another baby.... I stopped bleeding yesterday and it went brown. Then today its got worse like a bright red. Just want yo find out some other peoples experiences. Thanks.

I started spotting at 6 weeks (just brown when I wiped). The next day it was a little heavier but not enough for a pad. By the evening, I had back ache and a heavy feeling, by this point I had a light red flow (1 liner a day kind of amount). The following day I felt really bloated and started passing clots and heavy dark red blood. The tissue passed at 6+2 and then my flow went back to normal (no clots). My scan 4 days later showed no tissue relating to pregnancy.

Normally brown blood isn't a worry but it's more of a concern if it's red. Likewise there are a lot of women who have had red, heavy bleeds and it has not impacted your pregnancy.

All you can do is be kind to yourself and hold out for more information on Saturday.

Thank you for you advise. Im so sorry to hear this happened to you. It happened to me last year too. Started to really feel it now. I just want a baby. Just got to wait and see what happens tomorrow. I did another test today and it still shows im pregnant. But I have no more blood. Ive had no clots. Just the blood from the other day that worried me. Ive been told my husband can come in with me this time for the scan so it has made me more at ease. I will let you know what happens tomorrow. ❤❤❤❤❤
