I got a phonecall this afternoon to tell me that l need to be admitted into hospital for antibiotics. This is for a uti, of which this particular strain is resistant to antibiotics considered safe in pregnancy.
I'm terrified, I've already told them that l don't want to spend 5 days there, and the doctor said l could possibly go in and out.
They've booked me a bed tomorrow so l will find out, what happens then. The last time l stayed over night at a hospital l was 18.
