I'm currently on mat leave with number two but just found out I'm expecting number three! I've checked my maternity policy and it says I can claim advanced pay for consecutive pregnancies if I return to work for 26 consecutive weeks in between. I technically 'returned to work' mid December and have been using accrued leave since. Does this count as being back to work?? It does not mention leave.

Congratulations! Yes, annual leave would count as being in the office. As long as there's 26 weeks of annual leave/working then you should get your enhanced mat pay. When are you due and when are you going back to work?

Thanks! I'm going back to work first week of march and due first week of August

As long as you aren't starting mat leave early (mid June) then you'll be fine! You could technically start it earlier but make sure you've done 26 weeks from your "start" date in December
