hi, i'm wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar. i've had about 4 scans and i'm 19 weeks pregnant .. in each scan i had baby looked like it was jerking it spasming. like the head jerks forward then back arches fast. happened multiple times and in each 4 different scans i've been to. can this be normal or should i be worried?

Assuming they are scans carried out by professionals (i.e. not a simple peek in your womb), then if it wasn't normal, they would have highlighted it.

They surprisingly do move a lot when they're smaller. I remember being amazed at my 12 week scan how much he was wriggling about

Might be hiccups. Both of mine hiccuped a lot.

I think this is fairly normal - their movements are pretty jerky, especially early on as they are developing muscles and control. Whenever I've seen my baby move it's been pretty jerky. He's not exactly ready for BGT just yet! If you're worried about it you could always ask your MW at your next appt?
