Was it vomiting or just nausea? And when did it start/finish? I'm 5 weeks and have some nausea but I have emetophobia and I'm so petrified it's going to get worse and end in full blown vomiting.

all day nausea from week 7 - 13ish. No vomiting, just one close call!

HurricaneBitch · 02/02/2021 15:43

I felt nausea from about 8-12 weeks, never sick, 2 pg the same.

It varies by individual, and by pregnancy. I was sick a lot in my first pregnancy, for months, but in my second, only once. I was nauseous but dry crackers seemed to settle it.

You can get antisickness meds which do help, if it does get bad.

I'm just over 10 weeks and have been nauseous every day since week 5. I too have a fear of being sick, and have spent the last few weeks mainly retching without bringing anything up. The drugs haven't worked much for me, but that's maybe because it's 'only' nausea and not vomiting. All the best OP, it isn't easy.

Nausea started within a week of my positive test and vomiting a few days later.
By 7 weeks I had dropped 5% body mass and was pretty miserable with it. I started on anti nausea meds. It stopped about 12 weeks but came back for a week around 15/16 weeks and properly from week 25-36 and I had too take the antisickness tablets again and time off work.

The return of sickness in the third trimester was a shock to me but apparently it is uncommon.

All day nausea and I have had days where I vomitted but not every day.

I am 10 weeks now. Every woman different but OP speak to your midwife about your concern as they can prescribe anti nausea medication.

No sickness here or nausea. Not everyone gets it.

higglepiggley · 02/02/2021 17:40

Two pregnancies

My first daughter I was unfortunately sick every day from 5-35 weeks. Often multiple times a day even with medication

22 weeks now with another girl and not even a hint of nausea and no vomiting.

I don't know how it's been so different

GintyMcGinty · 02/02/2021 17:44

Pregnant 4 times and never had anything.

Daffodil21 · 02/02/2021 17:48

No nausea or vomiting for me (currently 12 weeks). My friend never head any throughout her healthy pregnancy

FeloniusGru · 02/02/2021 18:35

No nausea or vomiting in either of 2 pregnancies except a one off occasion where I brushed my teeth too enthusiastically and made myself nauseous Grin My sister suffers emetophobia and that is part of the reason she has decided not to have any children so I understand how worried you must be feeling OP. Good luck to you.
