Wondered if anyone is in a similar position. This is baby number 3 for me and it's hitting me hard.

I'm a massive over thinker so i had one scan at 7 weeks (healthy and strong heartbeat) another scan at 9weeks 4 days and same again (very high heartbeat but read that's ok) I'm nearly 11 weeks now and I have very low stomach cramps throughout the day and very sore back pain like a heavy period. The midwife has told me it's my uterus stretching and not to worry if no blood. Very hard to settle when nausea has decreased massively and I feel less bloated!

Anyone having/had a similar experience?

I didn't want to read and run!

I had cramps throughout my whole pregnancy, and I was told this was round ligament pain. I completely understand your anxiety as I felt the same. I would say if it is driving you crazy, maybe speak to the midwife again and try and get an ultrasound just to stop driving yourself crazy.

Congrats by the way xxx

I had horrendous abdominal pain throughout my 1st trimester up to about 16 weeks caused by UTIs. At one point around 10 weeks I couldn't move from standing to sitting without tears coming to my eyes and I remember being out on a walk and not knowing how I would ever manager to get home. At 7 weeks I was told it was the uterus stretching, at 9 weeks I was told it was "everything adjusting" and that my urine test was clear, at 11 weeks finally discovered I had a UTI (they'd lost my previous result). The meds didn't work to start with but once in 2nd trimester they gave me different antibiotics which did clear it and then magically most of the pain was gone. Pain keeps coming back and every time it does I go to my GP with a urine sample and sure enough I have another UTI. Sometimes I'll end a week's course of antibiotics and get another UTI 3 days later. I think there were other things causing the pain as well and it was all contributing - everything is stretching after all. It's got easier to distinguish as baby has got bigger and higher up - low down abdominal pain/back pain = UTI, higher up pain = stretching. For me the really bad pain was definitely UTIs even though I've still not had any of the "classic" UTI symptoms. Obviously might not be that for you though but thought I would throw it in the mix!

I hope you start to feel better soon.
