Was my test result reliable??

I just took a pregnancy test, it was just a cheap one. I followed the instructions correctly, peed on it for the same amount of time etc... the only thing was a bit of pee did splash on the window but hardly anything and it didnt seem to affect it.

After I peed on it I laid it down flat upside down, I waited 3 minutes and picked it up however both the windows were blank. I don't know why but i decided to shake it a little bit and when I did the window filled pink like it was supposed to but was a little streaky. Should i trust the negative result or retake??

Thinking back now I wish I took a picture of it.

I would retake.

I find it best to pee in a container and then hold absorbent test strip in that for 10-15 seconds.

No idea, I would wait a day or 2 and take another test

The only reason I am doubting it is because it didn't work until I shook it, and I know you are supposed to keep them flat anyway after taking them and I shook it

Do another one and if you can pee in a cup and dip the test - easier to get a reliable result that way. It probably is negative but I wouldn't rely on a test that didn't work the way it's supposed to.

@Meg12xx looks like a faint line to me!! If you're not sure defo try another, maybe clearblue digital??

@keeleyy thankyou so much, I’m definitely going to do another one maybe tomorrow as I took that picture of the test yesterday. I just needed someone else’s opinion. X

Get a first response. All other tests are rubbish compared to them.

@meg12xx you really need to leave it a few days.
I always dismiss such light results as evaps.

@Chelyanne I thought evaps were colourless? These are clearly pink? But yeah thankyou I’ll do a test on day of expected af. Thankyou

@Meg12xx How many days until af? You've got two in a row that look like faint lines maybe dont try get your hopes up too much but ill be crossing my fingers for you!! xx

Hi all I took a cheap test this afternoon and I'm was told to do black and white filter in case it may be an evap line. Can anyone see anything? Thanks

Tried again today this afternoon. At first i was unsure but then after 4 hours I looked again. Is this an evap line? X
