So on thursday 26/9 after (or actually during) managing to attend the 100% Design Show which I had been waiting for all year, I started labor (I think I freaked out a few exhibitors...). And 5 1/2 hours later (10:24 pm) gave birth to a beautiful baby girl (Dorotea). I had an emergency C-section 22 mo. ago with my son and was desperately hoping not to have a repeat performance this time around. My wonderful mid-wife stuck up for me with the consultant and coached me all the way through and after only 17 min. of pushing, out came my daughter. I did manage to scare the hell out of everyone by losing large amounts of blood, so they spent a few hours in theatre poking and prodding me to make sure it was nothing more than my uterus not contracting, but all was ok and other than a face like a ghost and large numbers of stitches, I'm home and happy.
