Two weeks ago I had light pink spotting and then today a faint positive result. I have been having cramping which feel like period cramps for a few days now. Anyone know what it is?

Sending love xx when is your period due? Look after yourself xx

BlueberryPancake21 · 01/02/2021 09:16

Cramping is normal in PG. It's probably just your body adapting to hormones etc.

Chelyanne · 01/02/2021 09:55

It depends.... was the spotting around when af was due?
If the spotting was around the time af was due I would expect a strong positive on a test at this point. If you have irregular cycles it could be normal though.
Mild cramps in early pregnancy can be normal so long as not accompanied by anything more than light spotting for a day or 2. Any heavier bleeding can be a sign of a chemical pregnancy.
You have to play the waiting game unfortunately.

No the spotting was 2 weeks before af was due, I'm two days late now also

I'm 8 weeks pregnant tomorrow and had period like cramps for two days before my period was due. I was sure it would come, but the cramps disappeared. Check in a couple of days if the line gets darker.

Hello I’m new to this and really don’t know if I’m in the right place but can you please give me your advice on this test? Is it a positive?

@Tabut In that case I'd give it a few days and test again then, the line should get darker by then.

Chelyanne · 01/02/2021 15:23

@meg12xx personally, I would dismiss that test as an evap. Give it a few days and test again with 1st morning urine. If you are pregnant hormone levels should increase enough to give a stronger line by then.

@Chelyanne thankyou, I did this one today, what’s your thoughts?

Faint but looks promising. If you get a stronger line in a couple of days I'd say congratulations are in order.

You do need to leave it more than a day at this early stage as the hormones take longer to build up.

Glitterandunicorns · 02/02/2021 16:32

@Meg12xx a line is a line! That looks positive to me (if it's around the time your period would be due). Congratulations!

This is what the test looked like on Monday

I had two positive pregnancy tests and missed my period. My period would have ended by now, but I've been having mild cramping on and off for a few days. Today I wiped and there was light pink discharge which I then noticed had smudged into my pants (tmi sorry). I put a pad on to see how much was actually coming out and it now looks like there's light brown discharge in the pad, there's not a lot but it's definitely there. When wiping it's still light pink. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm still getting mild cramping every now and then and I'm worrying if it's a chemical pregnancy or not ectopic. Any advice ?? Thanks

@Tabut light cramping is completely normal during pregnancy. Especially the first few weeks. Most people say it feels like they’re are about to start their period.
The pink discharge again can be normal in early pregnancy.
You must be about 5w now ? There’s not a lot that can be done at the moment. Unfortunately it is a bit of a waiting game. If you have any signs of ectopic though you shouldn’t ignore these and call your local EPAU for advice.

All the best. Hope it works out for you x
