As the title suggests I'm 5 weeks pregnant however I have developed quite bad anxiety about having miscarriages/still births/SIDS. Does this get easier with time is it even normal? Sad

Can I ask when you started feeling symptoms and when?

My symptoms aren't strong. The main one is very sore boobs and the last two weeks I've felt exhausted. Sickness/nausea has been minimal and fleeting. Mainly feeling "off" at times and retching but not really physically being sick.

I'm trying to not worry about it too much. It's just reading other people's posts about being sick constantly and bed bound makes me really worry.

But I've had an early scan and everything was perfect at 7 weeks. So I just think every pregnancy must be different and I'm trying to not compare to other people and worry.

This is completely normal after a MMC surely? At least I think it is! I had a MMC at 10+4 in September and am now 6 weeks but not allowing any hope until the 12 week scan tbh. I think prior experience of a MMC changes everything sadly. I think if I have a positive 12 week scan then I will be back down to "normal" levels of anxiety.

Also depends on your age too

Sorry, I didnt mean that to be negative, just saying that I think high anxiety in the pregnancy following a MMC is completely normal. I think every positive scan will give you some reassurance.
