I just had a tin of tuna and now I'm panicking are you allowed to have that ? I'm 9 weeks

You'll be fine I think you're allowed up to four tins per week x

One tin that’s ok Yes, and don’t worry about it
The advice has varied about tinned tuna over a number of years
The risk is the mercury content may be harmful to foetus

Yes it's fine to have up to 12oz a week.

I have it twice a week, I love the stuff. As long as you don't eat more than 4 tins a week I think it's fine x

I loved tinned tuna until I got pg,when pg the smell of it made me boak
Interestingly my kids all hate tuna. So I suppose they exerted a preference from the womb

I think you'd have to have a lot over a long period of time to do any harm. Having tuna once or twice a week really won't do any harm Smile

You can have up to 4 medium tins a week so you're fine
