Breech at 34 weeks

A few weeks ago my midwife told me my baby was already head-down :-)
However I went back today and they said they suspected baby had moved and was now bottom down. They’re sending me for a scan.
Arghh!
I know 34 weeks is a bit early for him to be head-down, but I didn’t know they could move back!
Now worried I’ve done something wrong like not walked around enough?
Is there anything I can do to encourage him back into head-down?
Should I be worried?!
Thanks!

try the spinning babies website!
You can opt to try and ECV at 37 weeks if you want to. I did this but it was unsuccessful so had a c-section at 39 weeks.

It's nothing you did by the way - perfectly healthy babies are breech sometimes!

It's something to worry too much about. They'll either try to turn baby or book an elective cesarean.
All of ours have been head down from 20 week scans.
Out twins were a bit naughty. Twin 2 (the higher up) was transverse the whole pregnancy, twin 1 was head down from 20 weeks to 32 week scan. At my 36 week scan she'd turned breech! The consultant was amazed she'd managed it with such little space (they were huge for twins). Threw a spanner in the works as I was planning on going natural. The success rates of turning a singleton are not much over 50% so they will not attempt to turn a twin. I was booked in for an elective cesarean at 38 weeks but they did say if she turned before then they'd do induction instead. She stayed breech, cesarean was much better than I expected and I got to go home the day after surgery (spent about 36 hours in hospital).

You could potentially try some yoga? I haven't tried this particular video but it's a channel I really like for pregnancy yoga:

My baby was breech at 28 weeks and 31 weeks.
Decided to do moxibustion at home. Ordered the sticks online. 10 mins each side for 10 days.
Then got my mw to refer me for scan at 36 weeks and baby was now head down. So it worked.
Loads of youtube videos on how to do moxibustion for breech baby.

You could try the spinning babies website like someone above suggests - but don't go crazy trying to turn your baby like I did with my last pregnancy. I basically thought if I did ALL the baby turning things (poses and exercises on spinning babies, dives into swimming pool, moxibustion, hypnotherapy, yoga, walking, ECV) something would work. Nothing worked. It's not really understood why some babies are breech, they just are. It doesn't have any relationship to health problems in either mother or baby so no need to worry about 'what it means'.

The only upside to all this madness was that yoga moves when you're on all fours (one suggestion for baby turning) were also good for my achy back.

You've got time though so hopefully your baby will just turn back on its own. With my current pregnancy baby was breech at 20 weeks scan but now head down without any intervention. Fingers crossed this one stays put!
