Mozzarella

Quick question how do you know if mozzarella is pasteurised or not all packets I’ve looked at say (milk) but doesn’t say if pasteurised or not just wondering even looked at the Kerbab mozzarella and it doesn’t say if pasteurised so how do I know if it’s as I love my cheese chip from the Kerbab ? Xx

I thought they had to say on them if they were unpasteurised. If you are cooking it then it wouldn't matter if it was pasteurised or not

Is kerbab a brand?

Very few cheeses aren’t pasteurised.

Most store bought are now pasteurised as it extends shelf life. If it is cooked it is usually safe anyway as the heat will kill any nasties.
