Anyone else just had their BFP?

I've not even missed my period yet (due on Sunday) but I've had 4 positive tests now! I had a MMC in July last year so I'm very alert. Is anyone else in the same boat? Very early days? Looking for some people to talk to!

We had a thread here for October babies. Since you’ve had your BFP now you’ll be due in that month. We’ve also started a Facebook group (early days I know) but it’s nice to have a group of women all in the same boat. We can all talk about how we’re feeling and our worries and it’s a safe space. Think we're on similar cycles. Had a MMC in June, and I think I've had 2 positives in the last 2 days. Due my period on Saturday so scared to imagine it could be real

@anothermonthbitesthedust oh gosh yes I feel the exact same! Feel free to chat to me on here if you like! Did you have to have surgery for you MMC? I had the tablets twice and they failed so ended up with surgery

heya, I had my BFP this morning. I was 4 days late but this was a huge shock as we have been trying for YEARS and had given up on it!

After getting over the initial shock we are super excited! DP was stunned into silence when I told him- he is never lost for words so I really hope it all goes ok.

How are you guys feeling? Any symptoms?

Congratulations @yellowbeaker ! So exciting! Do you know a rough due date? No symptoms for me yet, they hit me at about 6 weeks when I was pregnant with my daughter! What about you?

I have massive sore boobs and really bad acid reflux. My LMP was Dec 27th so the app i downloaded says I and 4wks +4 and due on 4th October.

I haven't had a baby in a loooooooong time so I can barely remember anything from previous pregnancies! I still can't believe it and I'm trying really hard not to get too excited yet as it is such early days.

So far feeling bloated, crampy and incredibly tired. Which could all be PMT 😢

Will feel more positive after the weekend if my period doesnt come. I was really blindsided by the MMC, I would have been due on Saturday. Same day as my period is due.

@yellowbeaker massive boobs is one little positive I suppose haha! I feel the same, feels too good to be true and so early to get excited but it's hard not to isn't it. How long since your last baby?

@anothermonthbitesthedust gosh it's a tough time. We just have to get through the weekend and we can start feeling a little stronger. Let's stay positive! I've been rubbing my belly (full of cookies) and trying to think positive/visualise my baby

@justteaplease I've got a 12 and 13 year old already so they will be super excited when they hear the news if all goes to plan!

I will need an early scan to check its not ectopic as I have had one in the past so I am just holding on to get past that point. hopefully I will only need to wait 2 weeks for that. I will be gutted if its another.

Hello! Can I join too please? I'm 5 weeks today, following a mc in October so anxious isn't the word. I have no symptoms either so this is making me panic!

Heyy I'm got my bfp this morning but equally nervous @justteaplease as I also miscarried in July at about 9 weeks. Crossing everything that this one sticks...I got so excited to see the positive this morning but my partner is trying to stop me getting too carried away this time. Sending positive vibes to everyone...not had my first cuppa of the day yet but intend to! 😄 x

@justteaplease thanks for the warm welcome...I feel the same! I have 2 FRER tests in the drawer so will use those tomorrow morning and maybe mid week just to reassure me. Not really too many symptoms yet just really thirsty all the time and some mild cramping but much higher up than period pains so fingers crossed 🤞 hows everyone else doing?

@justteaplease just so bloomin tired. I had a nap after work yesterday and then slept for 9 hours last night......then got up this morning to start work again only to fall asleep at my desk again

i've started taking vitamins so folic acid, vit D and Iron so hopefully those will help me along and I have meal prepped for a few days so I can be healthy. I piled weight on over lockdown (about 3 stone!) and I know that increases my risk of complications so I am trying to eat well to help myself as much as possible. I know the midwives are going to pass comment on my weight

Hello to the newbies!

I got some clear blue tests yesterday which said I was2-3 weeks (from conception) so that puts my 4+5 from my last period.

@yellowbeaker I am the same, gained so much! Have you been prescribed the extra folic acid? I put my Pregnacares/Folic acids in a little weekly pill box and felt like a grandma but also super excited! Great news that you're 4+5. My Flo app says 4w2 but my cycle length is 32 days so I actually think I'm just 3w4 which just seems impossibly early?!

@justteaplease no- i did read that I might need to take extra so I might call my local pharmacy later and see what they say. I feel quite paranoid about everything I do having an impact on the baby. I just want it to be all ok.

DP still hasn't really got his head around it so he isn't able to reassure me much- if anything I am the one reassuring him. This is his first child so a totally weird situation to be in.

I guess it is all down to when you ovulated. It gets quite confusing trying to work it all out. I was panicking when the test said 2-3 weeks but my app said 4+4, but I realised the clearblue tests give you weeks since conception (just incase you use them and it scares you too)
