@ThisMammaCat Until this thread, pretty much no one had guessed girl, everyone was saying boy 😂

If you don’t mind me asking, what is stacking?!

Stacking is a feature seen often with boy nubs, basically, it's like an extra bit on top of the nub. When I'm doing a nub guess, I will rely more on stacking than the angle of the whole nub- that being said I am quite new to nub guessing, so maybe there are some girls with what appear to be stacked nubs. You got a lot of girl guesses on this thread because the angle of the main part of your baby's nub appears girl angled, but that stacking causes me to say boy. I bet you can't wait to find out for sure! I've found out with three of mine (team yellow with the current one) and it's so cool when they tell you! Grin

Awesome, I didn’t know anything about stacking, just the angle of the nub- although I’m a complete novice so even then I don’t have much of a clue 😂
I cannot wait! This time tomorrow we will know 💕 Even more excited as we know my partner is allowed to come along to the scan now, otherwise we were going to have to wait for lockdown to end for a private scan to find out!

Oh how exciting! Are you not finding out at all for this one?! I’d have loved to remain team yellow but I am not a patient person at all 😂

I have a gut feeling they are a boy. Not many people, until this thread, have guessed girl 😂

I’ll be over the moon regardless, just excited to tell the family as the grandparents have all been waiting for the big reveal to start really spending 🙈😂

Nope, not finding out at all. I am 25 weeks today, and managed to avoid seeing at the 20 week scan thanks to a very wonderful sonographer who steadfastly avoided the potty area for me (because I have eagle eyes and couldn't look away lol). I just figured that as this is probably my last pregnancy, now is the time to have that experience of finding out at the birth. Grin

I have done the symptom compare stuff, and nub theory on my 12 week scan but that's mainly so I can see what people think, and only did it after thoroughly convincing myself that it could go either way!

I’m going with boy too. I had a private scan at 12+3 as DP couldn’t go to the hospital scan and spoke to the about the nub theory, she (correctly) guessed my baby was a girl based on the nub but said it’s not so much the angle they look at but more if it’s a completely flat line (I.e. nothing forming above it which would be the stacking that would go on to form a penis). Mine was completely flat and also angled at that of a typical girl nub.

That being said, I’m always wrong when it comes to guessing the sex at scans! Good luck tomorrow, looking forward to you reporting back!
