Hi all, just rambling really but read something yesterday that described being pregnant as 'consuming' and I just thought, yes, totally!! Just wondered whether other pregnant mums feel the same way? I'm 31 weeks pregnant and finding it increasing hard to concentrate on anything other than the baby and my pregnancy. I'm constantly waiting for kicks and movements, or surfing the internet for baby info or cute baby items on ebay. I'm sure my friends and family must be getting sick of me because I doubt I talk about much else either. Am I just one of those really annoying people or is it usual to feel so totally consumed by this new little life? (I should be concentrating on my work right now but just can't keep my mind on what I'm supposed to be doing!!)

I feel all consumed by pregnancy but in a different way. I'm 15 weeks and just feel crap all the time, nausea, indigestion, tiredness. Everything seems ruled by how I feel and I can't seem to think about anything except how shit I feel. Feel like I've been ill forever (9 weeks in fact)

Macaco, I remember feeling the same at 15 weeks. I had morning sickness until around week 20 (sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear!) and I honestly thought I was in for a really miserable pregnancy - especially as everything I read seemed to suggest I should've been feeling better by 13 weeks. But at 20 weeks I seemed to turn a corner - in fact, I really did bloom, which I never would have imagined back then, and actually started to enjoy food again (and now I can't stop eating!) I really hope you start to feel better soon
