Struggling with 1st month

I'm 1 month pregnant and thrilled to bits after trying for a while but since I hit 3 weeks, I've been feeling absolute crap. The nausea is really killing me and it comes with dizziness. My boobs hurt, my whole body hurts. The nausea doesn't stop throughout the day and I'm struggling to be productive.

I'm so grateful for this pregnancy but I've been in tears all day questioning how I'm going to carry on. Anyone else feel like this?

Hey! I had all the same things your describing but mine didn't start until about week 6. I literally cried everyday i felt so so low because I physically felt so ill, the nausea really gets to you doesn't it!! I was probably in bed for 3 weeks straight barely moved to be honest and I was off work for about 5/6weeks as well. I really did wonder about carrying on with it and you do feel bad thinking like that because your so so grateful your pregnant. It really will get easier though I promise you!! Just hang in there and just be kind to yourself as your growing a little human it takes alot of your goodness! X

Thanks for the support. I just feel like it's not going to get better anytime soon. I just want to feel physically better!

Being pregnant is miserable. Not for everyone but for me its awful. I started getting symptoms later on 6 to 7 weeks like nausea, headaches, sore boobs and fatigue but they lasted well into my 2nd trimester. The only pregnancy glow about me is possible sweat 🙄 I cant wait till its over. You are not alone! Hopefully your symptoms start to ease. Just remember it wont last forever!

@PFin sorry you're suffering too although the bit about the sweaty glow made me giggle 🤭 how many months are you now? It feels like this nausea is not going to leave me alone. All day it lasts!

Im 25 weeks, dont get me wrong I feel 10 times better i dont want you to think it wont get better, it does lol. If its really bad you could maybe try your doctor for anti-sickness meds. This is my 2nd, and i hated my pregnancy first time round and ive done it to myself again so you defo get over it and forget about the process lol, and the labour 😂! Really hope you feel better, it will all be made right when little one is here.

@Taybz I'm on week 16 now but between weeks 6 and 12 pretty much I was nauseous all day long. B1tchy and extremely low in thay I just burst into unstoppable tears with the midwife as I suppose what I was feeling was classic depression and loneliness with everything. Not enjoying anything. Feeling hopeless. It honestly just lifted without me doing anything. It's totally hormonal and will end. Suffer it for now knowing that it will all go away soon. Feel fab now. Fat but fab :)

I found weeks 4-12 god awful but after that, I felt pretty good!! Hang on in there, rest, eat rich tea biscuits and drink water. It’ll get better Smile

In my first pregnancy I have to say the first trimester was the hardest by a very VERY long way. It is ok to be overjoyed by being pregnant but to hate pregnancy itself. Do whatever you need to do to get through the day, remind yourself that feeling awful is a good sign for the baby and just make sure your partner is 100% supportive. Flowers

Honestly I'm just counting the days until it's all over. I really hope it doesn't last beyond the first trimester for me because I'm starting to get depressed.

I’m 4 weeks tomorrow and I feel the exact same! Part of me wonders if I’m imagining how I’m feeling but I’ve already yawned twice since while typing this 😂 I’ve also gone off food that I love too, tried to eat some raspberries and yogurt for breakfast and it’s just making me gag...all I seem to be enjoying is a nice cup of milk!

Taybz · 28/01/2021 13:36

I am so glad I'm not the only one feeling like this. Honestly I felt guilty even sharing my feelings. Perhaps I just didn't expect to feel so crap so soon. I hope we all feel better soon!

Hi ladies. I'm nearly 7 weeks and feel exactly the same. The nausea only hit me at 6 weeks but I'm so sad, low and miserable with it. I hate feeling like this. Will giving into the nausea and actually being sick help?
