Hot Flushes!

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and have recently started having hot flushes. I'm usually a very cold person (always turning the heating up and hunting around for another jumper), but I'm now the complete opposite. Has anyone else experienced this? I've checked that I don't have a temperature and I feel perfectly well otherwise (apart from constant indigestion!).

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

i had both my babies in the summer so i was always hot - you do get hotter when PG though

You have more blood when pregnant, so you do get warmer.
I remember being around 28 weeks pregnant with DD walking around in november wearing a vest!

I am now 37 weeks and have been boiling ever since about 30 weeks. My hands and feet burn up so much that I hold ice packs or sit with my feet on them - they melt within about 5 minutes!
Last night I went to an Ante Natal class and wore a t shirt and flip flops like it was summer (got lots of "are you mad" type comments)! - but it was great to feel the cold.
I think it's reasonably normal as the other guys say - you have lots more blood which will heat you up - my MW knows about it and is not worried as everything else seems fine. I'm just putting up with it - but DH loves it (he is normally hot and I am normally cold) as it means we haven't had the heating on yet this year!

That's reassuring - thanks guys. Just when I think I've had all the weird pregnancy symptoms, I start getting a load more
