Children close in age

I gave birth 6 months ago to my first child and have just found out I am expecting again, scared, nervous and very anxious with them been so close in age! Does anyone else have children of similar ages? Fully expecting it’s going to be hard but looking for any form of reassurance

I fell pregnant when our 2nd was 4 month old, mc that one but got pregnant soon after. 16.5 month between 2 & 3. Wasn't too bad tbh, they were quite close when little. It is not like having twins, we have a set of those almost 3 years younger than number 3. Pregnancy can be tough because you already have sleep deprivation going for you and any pains have to be ignored because you have a baby to pick up and do with. It's very doable though and I like the small age gap because jealousy isn't really issue when they don't remember life without the other.

@Chelyanne thank you! That’s put my mind at ease slightly haha! It’s still very early days and I’m keeping myself busy with my first daughter but very much looking forward to how close they will be growing up :)

There's 14 months between my 1st and 2nd. 1st was 5 months old when I found out. In fairness it was so much easier having them closer together than it is apart. They were both still in nappies and having naps etc so it was easy slotting 2nd into routine. I've recently just had my 3rd and 1st is 6 soon and 2nd is 5 soon and its like starting over again. I'd much rather have them closer together than years apart.

Get the oldest into a decent night time routine and the days are easy!!
