Reassurance needed - massive bleed at 17 weeks

Hello, I'm actually posting on behalf of a colleague of my DH's. She is about 17 weeks pg and was rushed into hospital at the weekend, with a massive bleed. She had a scan and baby looks okay, heartbeat and everything, and she is at home after been signed off and ordered to rest. DH says she is feeling pretty scared and upset at the mo, and I think he and her dh are worried that she might stil miscarry due to all the stress (she has also had some work related stress to deal with as well). I thought it might help if I could pass on to her some similar experiences which led to successful pgs.

TIA

Do they know where the bleed came from?

Not sure, don't have too many details from DH.

i bled all the way through my pregnancy with dd2 (16 yrs) - really heavy bleeding but they never did find the reason for it. she was always there on the scan kicking around.

i hope your friend is ok

I bled heavily at 33 weeks with ds. They never did know why but pregnancy continued as normal. I was told to stop work and to rest more which was music to my ears!
