First baby induced at 42 weeks, pregnant with second

Just intrigued to know what's your stories

I was induced at 41+5 with first baby born at 10lbs 4oz had him at 42 weeks.

Did anyone go this far over due with first but went naturally with second ?

First was induced at 40+14, second was ELCS due to breech. No help, I'm afraid!

Had my first, 8lb7oz, at 40+13 and second, 7lb8oz, came 40+6

Me! First was 41+4 but only 8lb, second I went into spontaneous labor at 41 weeks (a couple of hours before my booked induction!) but ended up with an emergency section. Dc2 was 9lb.

Thanks for the response. I'm currently 34 with awful spd was offered some strong painkillers but Im to anxious about taking things when pregnant.

After I had a large baby last time and bad experience I'm hoping to get induced a little early this time. As I dread going all that way over again struggling to move about as it is now 😂

I was induced with 1st at 39+3 (born 39+6) due to high bp.
2nd was a big baby but they left me to go natural, 1cm dilated at 39+6 (born 40+5), they broke waters at 5cm. Slow labor is not the best.
3rd was also left to it, another big one. Contraction started on my due date (born 40+2).
4&5 twins were evicted bang on 38 weeks, cesarean as breech and transverse.

All 3 of mine were 42 weekers!

DS1 - induced and born at 40+14
DS2 - spontaneous labour the morning I was meant to be induced. 40+12
DS3 - induced and born at 40+13

Dc1 was induced at 42wks
Dc2 was spontaneous at 9 days over, only child to not need evicting.
Dc3 42wks induced but super quick and easy.
Dc4 was induced at 40wks due to size.

Expecting DC5 and expecting to be induced again as I'm 41, and almost certainly will be another biggie. Live in hope of a spontaneous labour at 39+5 but unlikely.
