Am I insane, I did a clearblue early test 3 days ago (5 days before expected period) and it had the faintest blue line after 3 min. I then did these first response early tests on the two following days also the faintest barely there (but there) lines after 3 mins. Clearblue digital with dating this morning said not pregnant after a very long think I did use the first wee of the day but I am probably still 1 day off start of period, as last one was 25th December (yay happy Christmas!) though I've never counted my cycle length.

Note: we would welcome a baby but weren't trying. Just felt a tad sick and had unprotected sex just after last period (highly unlikely to catch then) You wont offend me with any answers. I'm just left feeling a bit confused!! I'm just impatient to know what's going on with me 😅 of course nature will provide the answers before long but... are these early response tests generally unreliable?

I think these are positive and it’s probably just too early for the digi. CB do also do an early response digi - I’ve bought it once by accident but I suspect if you wait 48 hrs you will be getting stronger lines on tests and a +ve on the weeks indicator.

That line looks fairly clear to me, but odd that the digital said not pregnant- perhaps wait a few days and test again- easier said than done I know

Cbd aren’t as sensitive. You’re pregnant, congrats x

I did the same as you- got a line a few days before my period (fainter than yours!). Then took a digital which was negative. This was about 20 weeks ago and I am very very definitely pregnant.

Husband will divorce me if I spend another pound on "piss sticks" this week.

Also, perhaps Tmi, I've had the usual slight cystitis feeling I sometimes have pre period come and go for the last 3 days... and even worse, dare I say, slightly loose toilet times! I am overthinking I know, probably looking for things to explain/dispel theories

Same happened to me!

First response very faint line; waited another 2 days and done another FRER and the clear blue digi - both positive

I'm now 18 weeks pregnant

This happened me, I did a frer on a Monday had the faintest line even like yours, did one the following day and same really faint line but did a clear blue digital with same urine and it said not pregnant. Continued frer's each day the line progressed slightly and on the Friday I got a pregnant 1-2 on Clear blue. Nearly 16 weeks now

What a difference a day makes... it's going to be a long pregnancy if I knew from the earliest of days. Hope I can keep a lid on it for as long as possible to limit the "number 4! You must be mental/havent you got a telly" remarks. Fingers crossed a healthy and less eventful one now. Thanks for offering your help and experiences
