8 weeks - crazy

So I’m 8 weeks with my second (DS is 10 months) and it’s actually crazy how different this is.

I had what I assumed was bloat 4-6 weeks. At 7 weeks a bump was noticed by several (pictures of my bump at 21 weeks with DS and my stomach now are near identical). It’s also firming up/can’t suck it in. Which is crazy, right? Already in maternity bottoms.

With DS I survived on mash due to nausea (no vomiting). This time I’m ravenous and it’s really hard to eat enough to not feel ill without gaining weight (so far no gain), although it’s interspersed with odd days where I’m back to mash and toast. I’d lost a stone by this point last time. I mean, it’s 4:45am and I had to get up for a banana.

But the craziest bit if all. I swear I can feel movement... so I feel like a crazy person! It’s a feeling you don’t forget. Flutters, but with a blobby somersault bubble quality. Felt movement
with DS at 14 weeks.

Dates are definitely right, can’t be further than thought. So just feel and look like a crazy person.
Because it’s all crazy, right?

Can’t comment on the rest but the early morning bananas comment made me laugh as this is me! This is my first and am 12+5 - I completely skipped nausea and was ravenous too. I was getting up 2-3 times a week in the early hours to go downstairs and eat a banana too 😂

Congratulations!
It will just be bloating re belly hardness and that flutter feeling, but still part of a pregnancy symptom! ☺️☺️
