Baby thrashing 35 weeks

Today the baby has been especially active it feels like she's been thrashing around all day. Has anyone experienced this? Did you ring triage? I've gone too deep into Google to know what to think!

I'm not really sure what caused the baby to thrash like she did. After reading all of the posts I'm surprised the advice we're given is so different (about the movements been important if they were reduced but no mention of rapid movement).

I did have my scan today and the baby is doing well and the cord is fine. The movement checking is so stressful. I've resigned myself to thinking it's better to get checked out and the midwife think you've lost the plot than leaving it. Not that I've ever been made to feel that way by a midwife. Thanks for all of your advice it was very helpful
