FTM - movements or gas

Hello everybody! Smile I’m ever so sorry if this doesn’t make sense on what I’m trying to get at or this is kind of a long thread so please bare with me :)

I am 18 weeks today (FTM) since 16 weeks I’ve felt little movements, heard little rumbles and had feelings of bubbles popping inside my stomach.

I do have gas in which isn’t a lot however it’s only after I eat or drink something which has only started happening since 16 ish weeks.

I can always feel something moving same places on my left side. Whenever I go to press down on it I can feel it even better for a second or so. Sometimes when lying down on my back FYI I still have a tiny bloat, I’m petite at 5’2 weighing 8 stone.

From what I’ve put (hope I haven’t missed any thing important out) would you say this could be baby moving or gas movements?

TIA

Feeling bubbles popping sounds a lot like what I felt around 15/16 wks. It never really felt like gas to me tbh. I have a lot of experience with gas though from pre-PG! Having said that you definitely wouldn't be able to hear the baby so not sure what the rumbling would be other than gas... For me after a couple of weeks the feelings got a lot more definite and I got some actual kicks as well and it became obvious that it had been baby I was feeling before - same feeling just more pronounced. By 18/19 wks you could feel the bigger kicks with a hand on my tummy and see my tummy move. From what I understand this is pretty early for a FTM though - my MW was surprised I could feel anything at all at 18 wks, let alone that DH had felt kicks.
