I've just found out I am pregnant and have my covid vacc coming up this weekend (I have underlying health issues).

Just wondering if any pregnant ladies have had their vaccination.

I was under the impression that pregnant women can't have the vaccine as there isn't enough research into the effects of the vaccinations in pregnant women. Could be wrong though.

There is another thread on this if you have a look for it. Mainly health workers at high risk.
Many say the pros outweigh the cons for the very high risk. Discuss it with a doctor/nurse but the decision is yours.

I will not be getting one but I'm low risk anyway.

Thank you for linking that, I read ot after the receptionist cancelled it. I called back and asked to speak to a GP tomorrow to discuss further. At the moment I feel it is more important for me to get the vaccine.

there's some good info on the other thread. you are automatically higher risk with covid when pregnant so a lot of peoples doctors are advising to go ahead with the vaccine.

Thank you. I've gone over to the other thread.
