it is a bit nasty isnt it! try honey or sugar in it. if you really dont like the tea you can buy capsules .

GoodGollyMissMolly · 29/10/2007 09:26

Think I might give the capsules a try, I've been ok with the tea up until now, the sickness has just come on really quick. I feel really queasy, but haven't been sick as yet (sorry if TMI )

Might go for a walk and get a bit opf fresh air!!

Er, yes! I felt sooo like travel sick after I took it. Never again!

GothicCandles · 29/10/2007 09:29

Some women start labour by vomiting...

scorpio1 · 29/10/2007 09:30

i think the capsules are stronger though, so ask the person in the shop first about dosge, etc.

GothicCandles · 29/10/2007 09:30

No, that's not what I meant to say .

Re-phrase: for some women, labour begins with a gastric clear-out.

GoodGollyMissMolly · 29/10/2007 09:31

mustrunawaywithasexyvampire It's awful isn't it. I really like your name by the way.

Lol at 'gastric clear out', I really hope so, I know I've got 2 weeks to go yet, but I'm ready for it now.

Thanks Scorpio, I will deffo check with the staff at the shop.

do these capsules bring on labour as a friend of mine said they help you have an easier birth, she started taking them 8 weeks before her due date and had her baby 5 weeks early

starshaker · 29/10/2007 22:24

my sis loved the tea yuk lol i used the capules and they made me feel sick

AliCat07 · 02/11/2007 11:02

RDK - I started with the tea from 37 weeks and am now taking the 4 capsules a day and I'm now almost 2 weeks overdue - so not sure it was RL that bought on your friends labour...though they don't advise that you take them that early. I believe they are meant to make your uterus stronger and therefore have a quicker birth - I've heard stories from both sides, but figured it was worth a shot...
