I'm just over 35 weeks pregnant.

Just had a bath and as I was getting dressed after I've had quite a bit of water run down my leg.

Now common sense is telling me it's bath water, but is that a thing? 😂 I'm guessing everything's a little more 'open' now but it's quite a lot of water, I didn't have this with my son either?

Just don't want to ring triage and feel like an idiot so thought I'd ask here before I call 😂

Quite possibly bath water. Id pop a pad in and see if you get anything else. If you’re worried though do call up.

I put a pad in when I got dressed and it's soaking through my PJ's, I'm gonna give them a call and prepare myself to feel like an idiot but I feel it's a lot for just bath water and I haven't had this before, fingers crossed!!

I had this with my first...it was just bath water that had 'collected' Blush
When my waters did go, they were spectacular, both times.
Like above though, defo keep an eye on it and ring the assessment unit if you feel like you need to. Better to be safe.

KylieKangaroo · 19/01/2021 18:25

I think if it keeps coming then phone them, mine was non stop so there was no mistaking it!

shipperssss · 19/01/2021 18:27

Just seen your update, defo sounds more like your waters rather than bath water. Let us know how you get on and don't be fobbed off if you aren't happy with what is said.
Ruptured membranes are an infection risk if left.

If it’s still soaking through a pad and your pjs, that’s unlikely to be bathwater! With all 3 of my DC my waters went before labour came on and it was a steady stream of water that increased with movement. That went on for ages. It’s not always the tiny little puddle you see in films! Good luck OP!

Nc1468 · 19/01/2021 18:59

I've called them and I'm going down at 8, fairly sure I know they'll say bath water and I'll feel like an idiot but best to check!
