Hi,
Just looking for positivity, i had a loss a few months ago, and turned 40, i just want to know how common it is for women to fall pregnant in their 40s? TIA

I’m sorry. I’m not either but my baby does neonatally and I went on to have another baby after I had turned 40. Flowers

So sorry about your loss x how old was yku when you had your baby.... How long did itvtake you to conceive xx

So sorry for your loss. I had a late loss at 40 and fell pregnant first cycle after, all healthy in third trimester now. Am 41.
In fact I've fallen pregnant first time at age 38, 40 (our dc born sleeping) and at 41. Seems common among my cohort.

I had a late loss last year at 39 and an early at 40. Still 40 and currently 6 weeks but my hospital said I dont meet criteria this time for early scan Sad I'll have to go private. 3 older children at home but just want one more.

Sorry for your loss. I lost a baby 2 weeks before my 40th birthday. I managed to get pregnant again but lost that baby but now 39 weeks pregnant!

When I saw a consultant after my first loss she was honest and it is harder after 40 to conceive - although we have periods you don't necessarily release an egg. Or some months there are two eggs.

So my story is painful - 2 mc in a row but I have conceived twice after 40

Hi, with my first at 37 it took 8 months but my post 40 babies were 3-5 months

I had my last baby at the age of 40. It took me around three cycles to conceive although it also took me another three to four months for my periods to return after giving birth. So in total just I get six months from giving birth to getting pregnant again.

I am 40, pregnant with first. A little joyful surprise for us and now 13 weeks 2 d.
