More regular braxton hicks

Braxton hicks will be the death of me 😩

I'm 36+4 weeks & just had my 36 week scan
I walked to & from the hospital ( 15 mins each way )
LO was very active during the scan - even kicking the wand when passed over his foot
I was in a little discomfort walking back but thought it was just of the scan itself , there not exactly gentle are they

I've been in the house maybe a hr & a half & have had braxton hicks since I got in
I've got the period type pains & dull ache in my back as usual

I normally only get them late evening & especially at night - just as I'm getting ready to go to sleep 🙄

But the last 2 days or so , I've had them throughout the day & lasting quite a while
I heard moving around , keeping active etc helps but it seems almost accelerate mine sometimes

Is it "normal" for braxton hicks to become regular as it gets towards the end ?
Google didn't really confirm this

Tia ☺️☺️

Download a contraction timer app. If there is no pattern and it's not increasing, then just put it down to Braxton hicks and try not to overthink it.

Yes they do get more regular and can get stronger towards the end. It’s a good thing, means your body is practicing for the real thing. Mine get stronger the more I do.

As long as they’re not getting regular as in every few minutes and getting stronger each tim (which would be contractions) don’t worry too much. Any concerns contact your midwife though
