We have been TTC for around 5 months now! In the last few months we have taken early test kits and always been disappointed, that now I'm scared to try but this month feels different.

My period is due next Saturday, I have a regular 28 day cycle and use an app to keep track. Last Saturday which was around 8 days after ovulation I had a twinge of cramp but had nothing since. I have tender breats, but that isn't unusual for me pms. But today I just can't seem to curb my hunger. I'm not craving anything in particular but just always hungry and almost feel hypo (not diabetic)

Is this a good sign?

I read way too much on Google that I almost confuse my symptoms Confused

@RxCx Hi, wanted to comment but sorry if I'm not too helpful. Me and DH tried over 2 years with our first and I can't tell you the amount of tests I went through, it is possible if you pick up an early test to test early and get a positive all my positives have been really quite early 8/9dpo but I know many others aren't. As I've had a few mc I can say that sometimes I feel pregnant but actually its been my body playing tricks, I've just fallen pregnant with my second and apart from some twinges I really had no symptoms which made me really believe I was out. The dissapointment of a negative test is awful I know and really doesn't get much easier. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you this month as you very well could get your bfp Smile x

Unfortunately I would say it's too early to tell. I'm 5+4 weeks pregnant and didn't feel any different in my two week wait. I only tested as my period was late but had all my usual PMT symptoms. It took us 2 years to get a BFP and I have driven myself half mad with google in the early days but I just don't think you can tell at this stage.

Hi @RxCx

Firstly good luck and I hope you get your positive next week!
I know the pains of trying to concieve and symtom spotting I've been through it and you can drive yourself mad.

I want to be honest though and before I got pregnant I had every pregnancy symptom on the hook and always convinced myself it was only to get a negative test and feel so down. The truth is for every prefinance symtom you look up you can find somewhere that it's also a symtom of a period for someone.

My best advice is just to relax and not test to early as I did far to many times and it just got me down! When the time is right it will happen and all that stress will be worth it! Looking forward to hearing how you get on xx
