Keeping Calm in Early Pregnancy

I found out I'm pregnant this weekend just gone, it was a surprise because I was on the pill, but a very pleasant surprise and we're both excited, this is my first ever pregnancy. Two positive pregnancy tests two days in a row so I'm pretty certain.

I'm only 5 weeks so it's REALLY early days and so much could go wrong. So far I'm feeling good and I'm trying to eat well, not many symptoms except some very mild cramping (which I've been told is normal), I've actually not felt this good in a long time! Which I'm sure won't last long!

But I'm worrying a bit, it's a long time to go and it's so early I'm just trying to keep calm. How do you stay calm and stop yourself worrying too much about the baby this early on? Because there's no real symptoms it just feels made up and intangible right now.

I remember it all feeling a bit strange. You’re pregnant and your whole world is about to change, but you don’t feel anything.
A couple of weeks later the morning sickness kicked in and I definitely felt pregnant !

Good question and in all honesty, I'm not sure you can! It may help to repeat mantras each day such as, "Today I am pregnant" but this didn't work for me as I'd had a mmc previously.
