my oh is in the forces and cannot come home until 2wks before my due date. I had pre-eclampsia with my first and was on medication so could this have played a part in me being early. Really dont want this baby to be early.....

ds1: 38+0
ds2: 40+8 (this after weeks of dire warnings from my gyn about cervical thinning and prem labour)

In other words, you have a good chance.

how are you doing now? Any pre-eclampsia?

Pregnancies and births can be completely different each time so there is no right answer on this. Sorry.

So what you need to is relax babe! I know it sounds easier than it is ... but it's what you have to do.

Know that this birthing experience doesn't have to be the same as the last.

You might have my what my doctor calls "White Coat Hypertension". In other words.... one look at the doctor and your bp goes up.

Wishing you well.

my dd was born at 34 weeks, no explanation, just one of those things. I am pregnant again and was told there was an increased chance of this baby being early but I am now 39 + 6 days so its not always the case. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you.
