6 weeks 1 day and bleeding

Hi all.

I don’t know what I’m looking for.
I’m 6 weeks and I’ve had really light brown spotting over weekend.
Today I felt a (TMI) gush and in my pants was blood, pink ish in colour but was about 2 cm by 5 cm’s spread out. No clots.
I’ve had pad on since (12pm) and my pad is clean.

I rang my GP earlier about the weekend spotting, and she arranged a scan tomorrow afternoon.
I feel so alone as only my partner knows, and two kids at home- one who is old enough to know but doesn’t and I don’t want to be upset around her.

Is there any positive stories from bleeding?
I don’t have any cramps or clots (yet).
Worst thing was my sickness kicked in this morning.
I have had a MMC before so I know how sickness can be deceiving.

Any advice? Support? Chat? Would really be appreciated.

Same thing happened to me this weekend. Had a large amount of red blood, but then nothing since, I do have slight cramps so I'm not feeling too optimistic. Its such a horrible waiting rollercoaster. I'm 5 weeks and have a scan next week so will have to wait until then

I've only had more than pinkish discharge with the ones I've miscarried. My last one was in July, had a fair amount of lighter blood at 8wk by lmp then it stopped. Had private scan at 8+3, baby had a heartbeat but only measured 7+4. Started with bleeding again as I turned 9wk by lmp Thursday eve, got heavier over Friday, gushes with clots Sat evening then passed baby in it's sac on the Sunday afternoon. I couldn't be seen by epau until the Tuesday, cancelled that scan as all was passing naturally so better left for someone who had a chance at joy. I've almost passed the same stage with this pregnancy, only a little implantation pinkish discharge at 6 weeks and much stronger symptoms this time too.

@Jam291 I haven't yet, I called them this morning they want to schedule a scan for me in around 3 weeks. My last 2 pregnancies failed, had a miscarriage and then a PUL so an early scan was always the plan I think. I only started spotting lightly today, I know this can also be a normal but with my history it's hard not to worry!

Thankyou all for your replies. I know deep down that I’m having a MC, I have a two year old that luckily keeps me busy . Will go to scan tomorrow still. Blood is still pink / light red with no clots or cramps , I’ve had a pad on since 12 and it’s completely clear? (changed it only for freshness) but when I wipe the blood is there.

Does anyone know, if it would be ok to have a bath? They are my comfort.... but don’t want to cause anymore harm as such infection wise etc?
