Hi just wondering if I should be slightly worried or not! I had a private scan today I'm 31+4 and they have estimated her weight at 3lbs 12oz and to me that sounds big already! I've had a diabetes test and that all came back normal, and I've not gained much weight at all with this pregnancy I'm not even back to my pre pregnancy weight just yet! Anyone else had similar measurements?!

I think from what I've read that sounds about normal? I'm nearly 33 weeks and my Ovia app says baby up to about 4lbs now. I was told at 26 week private scan that baby weighed nearly 3lbs then.....but lots of people say that's not reliable and at 28 week midwife she could feel the baby and said she felt perfectly normal so I'm not overly worried x

I had read on the nhs website that around 31 weeks the average weight was 3.3lbs so that's what made me think she was weighing a bit more! Who knows there is so much different information online!

These estimated weights can be way off so I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had 4 big babies and 1 average weight. I found the big singletons had easier natural deliveries than the smallest. Huge twins turned breech so they came out the sunroof.

I shouldn't worry too much, my cousin had growth scans, they predicted her baby was going to be a 9lbs-er....baby was 7 lbs.
