Hi all - currently 15weeks and first time and experiencing constipation. It's every two days when I manage to go.

Can anyone share any tips and recommendations?

Thanks a lot!

I've had this quite frequently, definitely linked to how hydrated I am so I'm trying to drink extra squash, your body has loads of extra blood/fluid in it so if you don't drink more than normal then it'll show in your poo x

Make sure you’re eating fibre and have a sachet of fybogel daily if you’re struggling . It’s fab stuff!

I had such bad constipation when I was pregnant with my little one, the doctor suggested a small glass of prune juice every day. It didn’t taste great but it worked really well!

LACTOLONA

I had 1 cup at night 15mg by the second day went to the toilet naturally

God send have 3 bottles in my cupboard and it was prescribed by the doctors it's just like cough syrup!

Can you have salads with your meal? If you can handle it lots of mixed salad leaves, orange or prune juice, nuts as well. Or you can get the likes of lactulose from the pharmacy. Hope you feel better soon.

Prune juice. Start with half a glass and see how you feel. Another half if you need and have about half a glass or whatever is the right amount for you daily after to keep regular

Thanks all - i'll try with Prune juice and explore others.
