Has anybody with a diagnosed UTI had pink then orange vaginal discharge in early pregnancy?
I was admitted to EPAU this week for the day with suspected ectopic due to pain and pink discharge. They ruled that out. I am around 6 weeks exactly. Scan two days ago showed a tiny strong heartbeat. My cervix was closed and no visible blood.
My urine dipstick test showed infection (UTI) and I am on day 3 of Nitrofurantoin (slow release antibiotics).
Since being home, the pink discharge has returned and is now orangey. More of a rusty colour. It’s not heavy - mostly there when I wipe. It’s definitely vaginal and not from urine. The medication has turned my pee a horrible browny colour (expected), but, has it changed anybody else’s vaginal discharge?!
I’m starting to think this pregnancy just isn’t meant to be and it’s coming away very, very slowly.
EPAU won’t even discuss this unless I’m soaking two pads hence why I’ve asked here.
