How long did your implantation bleeding last?

Hello.

I'm just wondering if anyone has had implantation bleeding that lasted more than 3 days?

I started spotting dark brown on Thursday evening after a very faint line on an IC that morning. Friday morning I tested again and had a stronger line and got a positive on a clearblue digital. This was at 12dpo but was the day my period was due.

I have had two full days now of the spotting which although doesn't go onto my underwear is consistent every time I go to the loo. I'm really hoping this is normal and that someone can reassure me it will stop because I'm worried it will turn into my period and a chemical pregnancy!

Should I test again in the morning? Wait a few more days?? I'm going a bit insane having never had a positive test before and no one other than my partner knowing.

Thanks

I didn't get implantation bleed until 6 weeks, just pinkish discharge for a couple of days.
Not much you can do atm other than keep everything crossed. Brown blood is old blood, if it goes red then it can be something to worry about. If it persists for a few more days or changes colour and tests are still positive I'd give the GP a ring.

Good luck

Tested again this morning and still getting darker lines but trying not to get my hopes up too much.

I'm in a similar situation. I got a positive test yesterday and I was spotting but like you only when I went to the toilet, it's very faint but some times a tiny bit brown.

I think I'm 16dpo so I'm hoping it's nothing to worry about, but I can't help constantly googling 🤦🏻‍♀️. I'm going to do another test on Wednesday so Fingers crossed. Xx

@Rct4 oh googling is the worst isn't it?! I can't stop myself constantly doing it either but I'm finding it so hard to distract myself whilst I'm stuck at home. Have you had any cramping? I had some for a couple of days but seems to have eased now.

I think I'm going to keep doing a cheapie test every couple of days to make sure they're still getting darker but I know there's not much we can do but wait.

Is it your first pregnancy? Such a lonely time!

@Madeoftea yep google is the worst, drives me mad.
I've had light cramping nothing bad and not what I'd get when I have a period.

No this is my 2nd, but I had my son 2.5 years ago now so it's hard to fully remember that pregnancy, but I do know I didn't get any spotting or at lest I never checked, its only because I've been trying for this pregnancy for longer I think I'm checking every little detail, but yeah with how the world it at the moment it's very lonely.

Yeah I think I'm going to do a test every couple of days just to keep checking, such an anxious time. Xx
