6 weeks and spotting

Hi,

I’ve googled but really prefer to hear about people that have been through it....

I’m 6 weeks pregnant today and tonight (typically on a weekend) have started to have some spotting. TMI? It was like blood streaked CM, and now I’ve just gone toilet and it’s a tiny bit noticeable on the toilet paper. It’s pink in colour, not brown or red. I don’t have cramps,(( although now I’m over thinking and ‘feeling’ like I’m having cramps)).

Any advice ? Any reassurance chat?

My feelings are everywhere, and now I keep ‘checking’ for more blood.

I did go for a long 3 hour walk with
Hills pushing a buggy, but it wasn’t ‘hard work’ to cause spotting? Xx

I had hideous cramps until 7w and now 16w. I also had spotting at 5w. I called my GP and went to the early pregnancy unit for an early scan so definitely give them a call. You can't change the outcome, and I found that comforting, but it's good to know. I went for a 20 mile walk at 6w, I wouldn't worry about 3 hours.

I will give them a call, just have to wait until Monday .
Thankyou, it’s only happened (‘so far’) twice when I’ve wiped xx

hey @Jam291 - had exactly this last week atlike 5+5 and 5+6. was basically pink CM that happened when wiped a few times. I on the other hand was crampy one of those days.
I rang the EPU last sunday and spoke to lovely nurse who reassured me (or tried too!) and said really common at thisstage and poss just a bit of implantation bleeding too (kinda thought that happened earlier but took her word for it!). it hasnt happened now since last week, and ive got a private scan booked in for next week.
EPU told me to ring back if kept happening. Obviously no idea if everythings ok, but am pleased that that has settled down at least!
hope yours will clear up too :) and congrats by the way!

Apparently there can be further implantation at around six weeks, which can cause light bleeding/spotting.

As long as it doesn't get heavier I'd try not to worry (easier said than done, I know!).

Thankyou both for you replies means a lot.

I’ll ring GP Monday if I get anymore. I’ve had a MMC before so I’m just anxious. Really hope all is well in your scan! X

Yeah, I pray it doesn’t. I plan to do a digital clear blue how many weeks tomorrow
Morning as didn’t get the 3+ last week.. x

Hi @Jam291 I am 5 weeks tomorrow and have been having the exact same for 3/4 days now. Only 3 times and it’s more cm tinged with pink. I think the saying is if you’re not having any intense stomach cramps and bleeding bright blood it should be ok, however after consecutive 3 losses ranging 5-17 weeks I can understand why you would feel anxious.

I’ve stopped walks or anything too exerting and am trying to stay zen and happy.
Let us know how you get on. X

@Greenbks
Thankyou. Yeah I would say mine is CM aswell. I do reel anxious and for it to happen on a weekend of all days. I might try and rest a little but I have a two year old who’s constantly jumping all over me!!

I’m so sorry for your losses, life can be cruel!
I really wish you all the best for your pregnancy xxx
