Are there any rules on self isolating etc when going for induction

Hi there

Due in April. We have three small kids whom are home from school. We are in South Wales so go nowhere and see no one. We have no help with childcare atm when working as my in-laws are having niece and nephew whom access other childcare also so don’t feel it’s safe to ask for help for a day per week from in-laws whilst numbers are so high. This has got me thinking about going into hospital for labour. It’s not clear yet whether I will have a planned induction or a c section. Are there any rules on self isolating first? Also, I don’t know what to do about whom to have the kids...if my in-laws say they can help what do people think about the fact they are having niece and nephew so the kids would be collected by husband but it’s not a closed bubble so to speak? Not sure what all the rules are around childbirth as we haven’t had much/ any help with kids during the pandemic and my family live abroad. Fingers crossed the situation changes by early April and we won’t have to worry so much - it’s just pretty dire here atm and I know several people with Covid atm. Many thanks

Sorry both myself and husband work from home. Tend to order food via click and collect unless desperate (our area has high numbers)
