Possible implantation bleed or early miscarriage?

Hi all. I'm new here.

Just after abit of advise really..

My cycles are not exactly spot on every month (they vary a little bit) last month I had a 42 day cycle.

I last came on the 9th December.

Well I took a pregnancy test on the 13th Jan and had a very very faint line.
I took a pregnancy test on the 15th jan and had a stronger but very faint line.
I took a pregnancy test this morning (16th Jan) and had a very obvious line but not as strong as the control line. 3 hours after I went for a wee and noticed pink blood when wiping.

As of yet nothing more. I am just wondering if I have already had a pos test is it too late to be implantation bleeding and most likely a mc.

I am already a mum to 1 and I never had any bleeding.

Thanks in advance.

Hiya,

Do you have any photos of the tests? If you’ve already got a positive result I’m unsure if it would be implantation as that usually happens first! Lots of people do have healthy pregnancies and still have a little bleeding it might be you have to wait it out

Ramyxx · 16/01/2021 17:12

Yes I do although I dont know how to post it lol.

Do you know how I can post it?

If you have had your account for over 24 hours there should be a little paper clip icon that allows you to attach photos x

Ramyxx · 16/01/2021 17:17

I havent had it for 24hrs yet? I can send it to you privately?

Hi OP,

Obviously nobody can here can say what it is but implantation bleeding/spotting can go on for weeks in the first trimester. Spotting is a very normal symptom.

I'd say that you dont need to worry unless you're bleeding heavily and/or passing clots and in pain.

Ramyxx · 16/01/2021 17:18

I guess that applies to private messaging also?

Hi @ShalomToYouJackie thank you for replying.

I'm curious as to if it would be implantation bleeding as I have already had a positive pregnancy test. It's a waiting game again. I will take a test in the morning and see if it's any darker.

Hi OP, it's impossible to say. In every pregnancy I have had bleeding - one was ectopic, one was a miscarriage, one led to a baby, and the current pregnancy is still going at 19 weeks. I hope it works out well for you.

unicornpower · 16/01/2021 18:18

@Ramyxx implantation bleeding can last for a day or a couple of weeks so don't panic just yet, it can happen around the time you'd expect your period to be due! My SIL had pink spotting for around 12 days and her pregnancy is fine. Just keep an eye on it and if it gets worse then call your gp. They won't be able to stop a miscarriage but they can give you answers xxxx I hope youre okay x

Ramyxx · 16/01/2021 18:22

Hi all thank you so much for replying. Had some more blood when I wiped but very light pink. Will test in the morning and see if the line has gotten any darker :) will keep you all posted! @Asiama with your healthy baby and the baby your now carrying, did you experience any pain / cramps with your bleeding?

OP posts:
Asiama · 16/01/2021 23:30

@Ramyxx yes I did. With DS it was like period pain. With my current baby it was usually like period pain but one day it was really awful and the next day I bled bright red blood. I was sure I'd lost it but baby was fine.

Ramyxx · 17/01/2021 08:01

Good morning all,

Sad news unfortunately, I woke up this morning to some red blood, pregnancy test line is now almost gone already. Thank you all for the help :)

Many thanks

@Ramyxx so sorry, take care of yourself and cry, scream and throw things if you need to- its the hardest thing so sending you so much love x

Asiama · 17/01/2021 08:35

@Ramyxx I'm so sorry to hear that, don't lose hope just yet. It might still be ok. I had red blood too with my current pregnancy at 9 or 10 weeks and I'm now at 19. It might just be that your wee was too diluted.

littlehelp · 17/01/2021 08:54

Morning lovely sounds like we are nothing experiencing the exact same thing right night, sending hugs xx

Ramyxx · 17/01/2021 14:22

Hi all so an update,

It been 7 hours since my first wee of the day when i wiped and seen red blood. My pad isnt even half full and I have not passed 1 clot ( yet ).
All my belly cramps and back pain disappeared 3.5 hours ago and have not come back as of yet. Just abit confused as the pregnancy test I took this morning was practically neg (alot lighter than yesterday). I will wait it out and see what happens

LilmissCa · 17/01/2021 20:20

@Ramyxx big hugs to you, it’s horrible.
I’m going through the same thing, the unknown is unbearable! Been bleeding light / medium on Friday & very light yday & today. Test yday the line was lighter than the previous one, then did a digital and that said 1-2 weeks. Trying to give myself a testing break now to Tuesday. Should be 5 weeks tomo but it’s very doubtful

Ramyxx · 17/01/2021 20:25

@LilmissCa. Hi hun, wishing the best for you!! It is horrible. I am still bleeding red, but as of yet I still have not passed 1 clot. I will take a test in the morning and see if it is negative or darker than today's. I'm not really holding out much hope as I am suffering with cramps this evening. But very on and off. Sorry for TMI. But when I go for a wee I am dripping red blood into the loo so I know it is very much a 'flow' now. Sending you lots and lots of baby dust. I will post an update in the morning.

Awh thank you!
Going for a wee is the worst.. dread going in to see what I find!
Big love for you tonight & good luck in the morning xxx

unicornpower · 17/01/2021 21:23

So sorry @Ramyxx im sending you so much love, please look after yourself and rest as much as possible xx

@LilmissCa so sorry you're going through it too, it really is the most horrendous experience, sending lots of love to you x

Chica1990 · 17/01/2021 21:42

So sorry @Ramyxx I hope you’re doing ok xxx

Ramyxx · 17/01/2021 21:45

@Chica1990, hey Chica, I am doing ok thank you. Before my daughter i had a pregnancy which they said was Ectopic. Bleeding with that pregnancy is alot different to this one. I am in pain tonight. But will still take a test in the morning to make sure and I will update you all in the morning :)

So sorry Sad if you get a confusing result tomorrow it might be worth contacting EPU. I also had cramps and dripping blood into the toilet and EPU were able to do a scan to check what's going on.
