Ginger snaps - help

I'm 9 weeks today - nausea, vomiting and heart burn. I've been on the look out for ginger snaps - nice thin, gingery biscuits. I don't want ginger nuts or fancy ginger biscuits - thanks DH for the chocolate covered Border biscuits, but no thanks. Where can I find nice, old fashioned ginger snaps?

I seem to remember I got some ginger snaps from M&S back in the summer when I needed them for the nausea, if you've got one of those nearby.

I've not seen them in shops for a long time.
Make your own, you can control the amount of ginger then. Lots of recipes online.

Sainsbury's do ginger thins which are similar to a ginger snap. Or we got some from Ikea recently.

Apologies - they are ginger snaps!

Can anyone help with a recipe for ginger snaps? I’ve tried a few but they’ve turned out more soft and cakey. I live overseas so Sainsbury’s sadly not available!

IKEA do thin ginger biscuits, so do m and s. Or fairly easy to make if you are up to cooking or can ask your DH to.

This is the recipe I use: www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/gingersnap_cookies/

The step of freezing the dough, and then thinly slicing it, really helps to make them crispy rather than cakey

Thank you!
