Hi ladies, I'm hoping someone out there is feeling the same. I am 5 weeks 4 days pregnant today with my first and I have no symptoms at all. I didn’t feel very pregnant when I took a test i only took it because I was late for my period. So was a bit of a shock when I got a BFP. I had been having symptoms. Light cramping and sore boobs but woke up one morning and nothing. I’m so worried Ive had a mmc. I guess I won’t know till the first scan but 12 weeks seems so long away! Did anyone else have no symptoms? I almost wish I had morning sickness so I actually felt pregnant

I had absolutely no symptoms until around 8 weeks and even then they were very mild and intermittent. Don’t worry, it’s totally normal Smile

I didnt know i was pregnant until i was nearly 8 weeks! I had taken a test a few weeks before which was negative only cause I had missed a period but was obviously a false negative. At 8 weeks my boobs had gotten so tender, nausea had started and headaches where awful! I then bled at just over 9 weeks with clots etc and thought i was having a miscariage. EPU wouldnt see me so i booked a private scan. I had to wait a week tho for the scan and over that week i was convinced my symptoms had gone too. Sore boobs had gone, nausea and the headaches all gone! Had the scan and all was well and as if by magic symptoms where back and worse than ever, im now 24 weeks. Your mind can work im crazy ways. Book a private scan for a few weeks time if you cant wait, give yourself peace of mind!

It's pretty normal not to have symptoms this early. It was about 7-8 weeks for me when I suddenly started feeling awful.

Mishmased · 16/01/2021 07:23

Congrats @Minnie227 for my two kids I had zero symptoms apart from a growing bump throughout both pregnancies and first was born at 42 weeks, second 41 weeks.

I'm pregnant with my third now and it is like payback for my two symptomless pregnancies. SPD, nausea, exhaustion, food aversions you name it, I have it. It feels like someone is playing a joke on me 😆
Enjoy being symptom free while it last, you may or may not get any but don't worry every pregnancy is different 😊

Thank you so much for sharing your stories. Feeling a bit more reassured this is totally normal. I felt so upset yesterday as dh was saying how excited he was and I was thinking I don’t even know if there is anything there. Maybe i will get symptoms in a few weeks but I guess count myself lucky if I don’t. All the best x

It's completely normal not to have symptoms so early, there isn't really any such thing as "feeling" pregnant by the time you poas, it's just that sometimes people might have a really obvious symptom or two that make them test. When you think about it just 40 years ago you had to have missed 3 periods before a woman/doctor would consider you pregnant, confirming anything at 4-5 weeks would be unheard of. Our bodies don't always react to pregnancy immediately, lots of women don't have any major symptoms until 8/10 weeks or later.

I'm feeling like this! Nearly at 5 weeks and all you hear is how bad you feel and I feel totally normal. You're not alone!

Solomon1212 · 16/01/2021 09:46

It really means nothing. I had no symptoms with my 3 girls and they were fine. I have recently miscarried and again no symptoms. Try to relax x

Your still very very early. It's totally normal to have no symptoms at this stage. With my first I never had symptoms except a growing bump. My second I just had sore boobs and my 3rd I started to get morning sickness and feel awful about 7-8 weeks. Congratulations

Hey
I'm in exactly the same boat! I'm 6 weeks and 3 days and have no symptoms! If anything I have more energy now than I ever did!.. I had a scan last week as I was getting bad cramps and shoulder pain and I have a history of recurrent miscarriages so wanted to get checked out! Pregnancy was in the right place but they could only see a gestational sac and yolk sac as I was 5 weeks then! I'm going back for a scan tomorrow to see if an embryo has grown.. Feeling terribly nervous and anxious! Did any else have an early scan and not see much?? Worried I'm the only one lol x

How did your scan go? Similar position with lack of symptoms and a history of miscarriages

troubledtea · 14/05/2022 22:59

5 weeks pregnant, had a positive test last week faint line. My symptoms are getting stronger.. but every test done has come back negative. We have had 2 miscarriages in the past few year. Just wondered if anyone else has had this, when would it be a good idea to tke another one..

Blessedmummytobe · 31/07/2022 19:09

How did it go @Jasmine89H @troubledtea i was the same. Started to get intermittent. Now My breast are tender and nausea in mild waves. Just over 5 weeks now.x
